SOLFIRE HALL OF FAME - 2025 SOLO CUP WINNER - HARDEE'S

FROM OUR WINNER - HARDEE'S
So coming into this grow off I made the choice to run coco and I had a concept of a little forest or even a bouquet. I took the route of early topping to maximize branching, for this I used Bud Trainers and pinch/super cropping to spread my canopy as wide as possible before flipping. Height just wasn’t the goal in the end. Calculating the veg/flower dates based off the flower time provided was key in milking every bit of growth out. I coupled that with a crop steering style irrigation volume and frequency to maximize quality as best I could. My veg setup was initially just my open basement but was moved to a 5×5 Tent with my AcInfinity S44 which I ran at 100% and 24/7.For flower they lived under a Photobio M S4 600 watt. They were fed Athena Pro Line at 2.5ec and during veg a 6.2ph which I lowered to 5.9-6.0ph for flower. I have a modified food injector that is 30ml which I used to feed controlled volumes at waterings. This was such an amazing and humbling experience through and through. I learned so much about the importance of consistency. I became obsessive at adhering to my watering protocol. I even stayed home for Christmas. As daunting as this task became the camaraderie shared by everyone in the contest was insurmountable next to it. I feel like I made some real friends through this experience.
